Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme Q&A

We are running a Q&A session in association with Community Works. The session will be led by Fiona Martin, Director and Head of Employment Law.

The aim of the session is to help organisations decide how to cope with the Coronavirus crisis: using the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (Furlough) vs making people redundant, offering part-time work or salary sacrifice.

The session will cover:

• Who is eligible for furlough?
• Conditions that must be complied with
• Consultation and agreement
• Alternatives to furlough – salary sacrifice, part-time working and carrying out a fair redundancy/restructuring process

You are invited to submit your questions in advance of the session (asked upon registration). However, you will also be able to ask questions on the day.
