Thursday 13 October 2022, 12.00pm – 1.00pm
Our seminar for employee advisors is a core part of our campaign – Disability Matters, which will run throughout October 2022 to stamp out disability discrimination in the workplace.
Fiona Martin, Director and Head of Employment Law at Martin Searle Solicitors, will show you how you can best assist employees and workers who are treated less favourably in the workplace. This might be because of their disability, or because there has been a failure to make reasonable adjustments.
Our seminar will focus on useful tactics to ensure that employees with disabilities are treated fairly. We will also explain what steps to take if they are being treated unfavourably or if reasonable adjustments are not being considered. Finally, we will also discuss examples of what employers should be doing to ensure an equal playing field for disabled staff.
Our seminar will be recorded and will be made available on our website as a future resource for advisers all over the UK.
Topics covered in the session will include:
Please submit written questions when you register for this seminar and you will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
