Celebrate Christmas 2012 At Our Alternative 80’s Party
The temperature is dropping and advent calendars are in the shops already, which means only one thing; Christmas is rapidly approaching. This year we’re celebrating the holidays with an Alternative 80’s party in aid of a great local charity, Adventure Unlimited, and we’d love you to come.
We’re throwing the party at Latest MusicBar, a lovely intimate club downstairs with an upstairs perfect for a chat and a catch-up. I’m excited that Simon Price, DJ at Spellbound and Stay Beautiful, is generously donating his services to ensure we have some fantastic Alternative 80’s music for the evening. We’ll also have Best Dressed and Best Dancer competitions – 80’s style, of course. Henry Butler of The Butlers Wine Cellar will be judging the competition and awarding prizes, but be warned – this is a man who admits to hating the 80’s with a passion. “I hate the 1980s,” Henry said. “I went to school during it, I hate the fashion and a lot of the music.” I think it’s up to all of us to try and change his mind, don’t you?
The party is being held to raise funds for Adventure Unlimited, a local charity who transform the lives of disadvantaged children and young people through outdoor education and adventure. All of the proceeds will go straight to the charity to ensure they can continue the amazing work they do in the area.
At martin searle solicitors we’re making this party our Christmas do, and hope that other Sussex businesses will join us for what should be a fun and memorable night. Also, if any local businesses have raffle prizes that they would like to donate, these will be gratefully received so that we can boost our fundraising for Adventure Unlimited.
