Menopause Discrimination At Work – A Guide for Employee Advisers

Delivered by expert Employment Lawyer, Christine Gannon, this virtual seminar will provide a detailed introduction to menopause discrimination in the workplace. Christine will also provide practical advice on how to support employees and workers who are experiencing negative menopausal symptoms and /or discrimination. This seminar forms part of our January 2024 Workplace Equality campaign, “Menopause Matters”.
This live and interactive session will cover the following:
- How menopause discrimination relates to the 2010 Equality Act
- What constitutes a menopause-related disability
- Age and sex discrimination advice for menopausal staff
- Practical steps and reasonable adjustments that employers should make for their staff going through the menopause
- Key legal issues and case law around the menopause, including practical case studies
- Menopause policies at work – what should be included?
